Central Park
Central Park is located at 9th street and Avenue E. It has summer band concerts on Sunday evenings, a gazebo, and a pond.

Old Settlers Park
Old Settlers Park is located at 4th Street and Avenue E. It has a tennis court, a basketball court, shelter, and a gazebo.

Rodeo Park
Rodeo Park is located north of the city on Highway X32. It has 234 acres, 6 open several shelters, restrooms, horseshoe pits, a frisbee golf course, and 1.9 mile hiking/biking trail, soccer fields, and softball diamonds.

Victory Park
Victory Park is located at 23rd street and Avenue G. It has a ball stadium for youth games, lighted tennis courts, and an open shelter.

Shopton Park
Shopton Park is located at 29th Street and Avenue O. It has an enclosed shelter, basketball courts, and a softball diamond.

Ivanhoe Park
Ivanhoe Park is located at 37th Street and Avenue L. It has an open shelter, tennis courts, baseball field, basketball court, and a roller-blade/skate park.

Riverview Park
Riverview Park is located at 6th Street and Highway 61. It has a marina, open shelter, restrooms, reflecting pond/ice skating rink, 2 sand volleyball courts, river walk, and gardens.

The Fort Madison Park and Recreation Department, under the authority of a seven -member board, is also responsible for these additional facilities:

  • Riverfront property used for park and recreational purposes (Riverview Park)
  • Riverview Park Pavilion
  • Riverview Marina (east end of Riverview Park)
  • Willow Patch Boat Access (east of the Santa Fe Bridge)
  • Municipal Swimming Pool
  • Kulmeier Reflecting Pond/Ice Skating Rink (Riverview Park)
