GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS: As a businessperson, you have enough on your plate without having to worry about muddling through the mysteries of state and local government. The Government Affairs committee offers updates and digestible information about what is happening in our community and in the State of Iowa, as well as nationally. This group also organizes forums and the annual Elected Officials Receptions to allow you easy access to the people who are making decisions on your behalf.

INDUSTRY: Our industrial employers don’t often have the opportunity to easily interact with the community at-large. This committee makes a concerted effort to discover how the community can provide support for industrial business and offer them opportunities to engage outside of their own front doors. The Industry committee also provides these larger employers with community information to use when they are trying to recruit fresh talent to Fort Madison.
