New view of the Fort Madison Sports Complex as of August 2015.

We are REALLY close to seeing the construction come to an end and sports teams playing on the fields.  We couldn’t have done this without the support of so many community minded individuals, companies, foundations, etc.  As we get closer to the opening date, we realize there are still items on the list that were pushed back in order of importance as we wanted to make sure we had the money to do the construction right the first time.  Those items we are still looking for funds to help off-set expenses are:

  • Sound system
  • Nice POS (Point Of Sale) system
  • Concrete Bleacher pads to stabilize bleaches around ball diamonds
  • Shaded viewing areas
  • Sand volleyball courts
  • Nice practice field area
  • Concrete walkways to the fields to help patrons and players get to/from fields
  • Additional landscaping
  • Trees lining east side of the complex to help add some privacy for our neighbors

If you are interested in helping off-set some of the above mentioned expense, please consider a donation to the Fort Madison Sports Complex.  Door cards are below or you can use the PayPal account at the bottom of this page.  All donations can be made out to Fort Madison Economic Development and are tax deductible.
